Your Role
You’ve spent years getting patients back on their feet. Now you get to decide how a whole team does it.
In 2027 we open our new studio at Savignyplatz, and we’re looking for the physiotherapist who will lead it. You’ll set the clinical standards, build the team and shape the culture from day one, in a studio designed around active therapy and training.
You’ll choose your team yourself. You run the clinical interviews, decide who fits, place new colleagues in our level system and develop them through onboarding, 1:1s and mentoring. When a therapist on your team grows, that’s your work showing.
You won’t be doing it alone. Your Head of Reception owns the rota, billing and utilisation, and HQ takes care of recruiting, contracts and IT. Your time goes into what matters most: your team and the quality of treatment.
You stay a physiotherapist. Part of your week you still treat patients yourself, so you know what your team deals with every day. The rest goes into leadership, team development and running the studio together with HQ, including the personnel budget.
Somana is growing across Berlin and beyond. Savignyplatz is your studio, and it can be your first step into an even bigger role.
What You Own
Clinical leadership of the physiotherapy team and, together with the Head of Reception, of the reception
1:1s and half-year reviews with every therapist
Talent development: training, responsibilities and targeted support for individual colleagues
Personnel costs: budget planning with HQ and keeping to it in daily operations
Compliance with legal requirements in the studio and first point of escalation when something goes wrong
What Success Looks Like After 6 Months
The team is present and treating: offered patient time is close to contracted hours
Low sick-leave rate and no unplanned departures
Patients rebook after their prescription ends, and doctor reports go out reliably
Personnel costs are on budget and Google reviews praise the team
Who This Job Is For
You hold a degree or completed training in physiotherapy and have several years of professional experience
You have led before, as team lead, clinical lead or mentor
You want to build and shape a team from the very beginning
Giving feedback comes easily to you, even when it gets uncomfortable
You think in numbers: utilisation, sick-leave rate, budget
You practise active therapy. Certificates in KGG (medical training therapy) or manual therapy are a plus
You enjoy team events and want to help shape the studio culture
This Role Is Not For You If
You mainly want to treat patients and not take on staff responsibility
You prefer to sit out conflicts rather than address them
Budgets and KPIs do not interest you
You are looking for a finished studio with established routines
You are looking for a small, family-style practice

Your studio from day one: you shape the team, treatment standards and culture of a location with up to 14 therapists working in parallel
A Head of Reception at your side who owns the rota, billing and utilisation, so your time goes into leadership and clinical quality
An HQ that has your back: recruiting including campaigns and first interviews, contracts, payroll and IT are handled centrally. You run the clinical interview and have a say in every hire
Peer exchange with the other Studio Leads and short paths to management
Professional growth: billing-relevant training fully covered, up to €2,000 per year for further courses, our own research and development, and partnerships with the University of Potsdam and DHGS
Real prospects: we are growing across Berlin over the next two years and beyond Berlin after that. Whoever leads a studio well takes on cross-studio responsibility
